Divide the class into four groups.
2. Each group decides on a destination from the list on the task
page. Be sure not to pick the same task as another group.
3. In groups, explore the websites provided on the teacher page
of this WebQuest.
4. After deciding what information is useful to your diary, begin
constructing an outline filled with historical information you
want to use.
(Be sure to include information about everyday life, sentiments
of people there, and any other interesting facts)
5. Once you have completed this outline, your group should begin
writing a series of entries in your group diary. Imagine yourselves
in this place. Think about how you would feel if you were there.
Your job is to create a vivid image for your fellow classmates and
teacher.
6. Type your diary using Microsoft Word.
7. When the project is complete, you present your findings as
a group to the class.
